Cutting-Edge Technology Solutions | Explore Our Innovations at Bayside Family Dentistry
At Bayside Family Dentistry, we use the latest technology to ensure our patients enjoy smooth, comfortable services that allow us to treat their teeth and smiles to the best possible care. To help us do this, we use the Orthophos® XG 3D. These specialized x-ray devices take complete images of our patients’ teeth and set us up for success when we’re looking into what could be causing our patient’s issues.
ORTHOPHOS®-XG-3D
This special x-ray device is the perfect tool for any dentist’s office because it offers a range of programs and diagnostic tools that help us to identify concerns with our patients’ teeth quickly and easily. The device was designed to be extremely efficient and its bite block ensures that we can get the picture we need on the first try. This way, you don’t have to be uncomfortable for any longer than absolutely necessary.
The x-ray is perfect for all our endodontic, periodontic, orthodontic, implant, and surgery patients. Since we can see so clearly into the workings of a patient’s teeth, we can accurately diagnose and treat anyone who comes in with tooth pain, cracked teeth, or those who will be undergoing oral surgery for their wisdom teeth, dental implants, and more. It can even help us to perfect the plan we lay out for our patients receiving braces.
When you’re dealing with tooth pain, the last thing you want is to wait for treatment, and this device makes diagnosing any issues that much quicker.
The device is special because it offers both 2D and 3D options as a hybrid unit. That means your dentist can trust it for superior image quality, which means that you can relax knowing that you’re getting the best possible pictures of your teeth for advanced treatment and care. Plus, the device emits the lowest possible effective dose of radiation, making it safe for adults and children.
When you need excellent dental care, work with Bayside Family Dentistry and enjoy our faster, more precise treatment plan that includes detailed x-rays from the Orthophos® XG 3D. Contact us today to learn more about how we can help you.

Cerec
For 30 years, CEREC has helped dental patients by creating high-quality ceramic restorations in just one visit to the office. In fact, on average 6.5 million patients are treated with CEREC annually, and that’s more people than the Eiffel Tower sees in a year!
The workflow possibilities it offers allow patients to receive their treatments in just three or four steps. The way the system works is even more comfortable, meaning you don’t have to deal with those conventional impression trays.
Patients everywhere want a range of treatments available to them and in the most comfortable, modern ways possible. We’re sure you’re no different. With CEREC, you’ll find a solution to your dental health needs that works for your busy schedule. You can trust this system for implants, orthodontics, ceramics, and comfortable treatment at every step.
We know that you want fewer injections and dislike the impression tray, this system can serve those desires. With digital impressions and trustworthy materials, your CEREC restoration will last and provide the durability you need.
The first step is the scan. The digital impression uses the Omnicam to create precise, natural color 3D images. Then we move on to design. We’ll generate the layout for the necessary restoration and then that fast, we’re onto step three: production.
The CEREC milling unit will create full zirconia restorations using extremely precise designs with smooth edges and surfaces. When you need full-contour restorations, they’ll also be sintered and glazed in the CEREC SpeedFire, and then you’ll be ready to go. That’s it! You’re out the door and finished in just one visit to our office.
The CEREC simply can’t be beaten. Schedule your next visit with us today.
